serving Jesus

following him

giving their best

but some people are still trying

to erase them from the text

women disciples

serving Jesus

following him

giving their all

modeling for believers

what it means to answer the call

women disciples

serving Jesus

following him

giving a full measure

holding back nothing

surrendering their treasure

and every time sisters work together

freely sharing their diverse gifts

the house is once again filled

with the aroma 
of inclusion and devotion

even if others attempt to contaminate the air

with the stench 
of prejudice and ambition

sirviendo a Jesús

siguiéndolo

dando lo mejor sin pretexto

pero hay quienes todavía intentan

borrarlas del texto

mujeres discípulas

sirviendo a Jesús

siguiéndolo

dando todo por su amado

modelando ante los creyentes

lo que significa responder al llamado

mujeres discípulas

sirviendo a Jesús

siguiéndolo

dando a plenitud

sin guardarse nada par sí

entregando su tesoro con gratitud

y cada vez que las hermanas trabajan juntas

compartiendo libremente sus diversos dones

la casa se llena nuevamente

con el aroma 
de la inclusión y la devoción

aunque otros intenten contaminar el aire

con el hedor 
del prejuicio y la ambición
