Jesus came to heal
the wounds inflicted
by separation and domination.
And Jesus invites us to heal

Jesus came to follow
the path opened by the prophets
who denounced idolatry and injustice.
And Jesus invites us to follow

Jesus came to go out
into the streets and the hoods
to address violence and negligence.
And Jesus invites us to go out
into the streets and the hoods
to address violence and negligence.

Therefore, let us renew our commitment
to heal, follow and go out
in the name of the One
who still walks by the shore of life,
inviting ordinary people
to join the extraordinary task
of building a society and a world
of liberation, equity and peace.

de sanar, seguir y salir
en el nombre de Aquel
que todavía camina por la orilla de la vida
invitando a gente ordinaria
a sumarse a la tarea extraordinaria
de construir una sociedad y un mundo
de liberación, equidad y paz.
