Doors talk,
they have a story to tell
about friends and strangers
who have crossed the threshold
looking for warmth and bread.
Doors talk,
they have a story to tell
about our hospitality
and our willingness to embody
the values of Jesus the Master and Friend.
Doors talk,
and may the story that they tell
be one of full welcome
and compassionate embrace.

Las puertas hablan,
tienen una historia que contar
sobre amistades y extranjeros
que han cruzado el umbral
en busca de calor y pan.
Las puertas hablan,
tienen una historia de contar
sobre nuestra hospitalidad
y nuestra disposición para encarnar
los valores de Jesús el Maestro y Amigo.
Las puertas hablan,
y ojalá la historia que cuenten
sea una de plena bienvenida
y de acogida compasiva.
