Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
to the house of the God of Jacob and Esau,
the God of Rachel and Leah.
Come, let us learn God’s ways
and walk in God’s path.
Come, let us go over to the city of the Lord,
to the house of the God of the rich and the poor,
the God of the haves and the have nots.
Come, let us learn God’s ways
and walk in God’s path.
Come, let us go down to the barrio of the Lord,
to the house of the God of the native and the alien,
the God of the resident and the refugee.
Come, let us learn God’s ways
and walk in God’s path.
Come, God of Advent,
teach us to beat our swords into plowshares,
and our spears into pruning hooks.
Come, God of the Visitation,
teach us to build a world
where nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
and neither shall they learn war any more.

Vengan, subamos al monte del Señor,
a la casa del Dios de Jacob y Esaú,
a la casa del Dios de Raquel y Lea.
Vengan, aprendamos los caminos de Dios
y caminemos por la senda divina.
Vengan, pasemos a la ciudad del Señor,
a la casa del Dios de los ricos y los pobres,
la casa del Dios de los poseedores y los desposeídos.
Vengan, aprendamos los caminos de Dios
y caminemos por la senda divina.
Vengan, descendamos al barrio del Señor,
a la casa del Dios de los nativos y los extranjeros,
la casa del Dios de los residentes y los refugiados.
Vengan, aprendamos los caminos de Dios
y caminemos por la senda divina.
Ven, Dios del Adviento,
enséñanos a convertir nuestras espadas en rejas de arado
y nuestras lanzas en hoces.
Ven, Dios de la Visitación,
enséñanos a construir un mundo
donde ninguna nación levantará la espada contra otra nación,
ni se entrenarán más para hacer la guerra.
