The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it,
the world and all who dwell in it.
For taking possession of the earth
to exploit and pollute it
instead of cultivating it,
we ask your forgiveness, Great Spirit.

to hoard and squander them
instead of sharing them,
we ask your forgiveness, Great Spirit.

For taking possession of peoples
to plunder and enslave them
instead of respecting them,
we ask your forgiveness, Great Spirit.

De Yavé es la tierra y su plenitud;
el mundo, y quienes lo habitan.
Por adueñarnos de la tierra
para explotarla y contaminarla
en vez de cultivarla,
te pedimos perdón, Gran Espíritu.

para acapararlos y derrocharlos

Let us worship God who created all things good.
Come to the banquet, all is ready!

Let us worship God who provides in abundance 
for those who are hungry.
Come to the banquet, all is ready!

Let us worship God who makes room at the table 
for those who are rejected.
Come to the banquet, all is ready!

Let us worship the God of Creation
who calls us to live, love and eat,
sharing so that no one is hungry
and welcoming so that no one is rejected.
Come to the banquet, all is ready!
