Dios que te hiciste presente
en el caos del principio
en el arco iris tras el diluvio
en el parto de una anciana
en la zarza ardiente
en las aguas partidas
en la honda de un joven pastor
en la estrella del Oriente
en el pozo de Samaria
en las heridas sanadas
en la mesa compartida
en los panes y los peces
en la cruz del Monte Calvario
en la piedra removida...
hazte ahora presente
en la fragilidad de nuestras vidas,
quítanos el miedo, danos valor
y concede que tu pueblo
sea fiel portador de tu presencia
sanadora y liberadora
doquiera tus criaturas
son víctimas de aflicción y opresión.

God who made yourself present
in the chaos of the beginning
in the rainbow after the flood
in the childbirth by an elderly woman
in the burning bush
in the parted waters
in the sling of a young shepherd
in the star from the East
in the well at Samaria
in the healed wounds
in the shared table
in the bread and the fishes
in the cross of Mount Calvary
in the stone removed...
be present now
in the fragility of our lives,
take away our fear, give us courage
and grant that your people
may be faithful bearers
of your healing and liberating presence
wherever your creatures
are afflicted and oppressed.
