The Spirit of the God of life
is upon me
when I pray and work
to change the systemic conditions
that contribute to the cycle of poverty.
The Spirit of the God of mercy
is upon me
when I pray and work
to change the systemic conditions
that profit from the captivity of the vulnerable.
The Spirit of the God of healing
is upon me
when I pray and work
to change the systemic conditions
that excuse blindness to injustice.
The Spirit of the God of freedom
is upon me
when I pray and work
to change the systemic conditions
that justify oppression and suppress resistance.
The Spirit of the God of good news
is upon me
when I pray, work and live
in such a way
that the earth and its people
can have a foretaste of divine jubilee.

El Espíritu del Dios de la vida
está sobre mí
cuando oro y trabajo
para cambiar las condiciones sistémicas
que contribuyen al ciclo de la pobreza.
El Espíritu del Dios de la misericordia
está sobre mí
cuando oro y trabajo
para cambiar las condiciones sistémicas
que lucran con el cautiverio de les vulnerables.
El Espíritu del Dios de la sanidad
está sobre mí
cuando oro y trabajo
para cambiar las condiciones sistémicas
que excusan la ceguera ante la injusticia.
El Espíritu del Dios de la libertad
está sobre mí
cuando oro y trabajo
para cambiar las condiciones sistémicas
que justifican la opresión y reprimen la resistencia.
El Espíritu del Dios de las buenas nuevas
está sobre mí
cuando oro, trabajo y vivo
de forma tal
que la tierra y sus pueblos
pueden tener un anticipo del jubileo divino.
