Seeing God,
you who look after all creatures,
even the smallest birds,
remind us
that not a single sparrow can fall to the ground
without your knowledge.

Compassionate God,
you who put a rainbow in the sky
and promised to never again destroy living things,
remind us
that not a single sparrow can fall to the ground
without your knowledge.

Provident God,
you who saw Hagar in the desert
and her small child dying of thirst,
remind us
that not a single sparrow falls to the ground
without your knowledge.

Caring God,
you who heard the people’s cries of distress
when they were enslaved in Egypt,
remind us
that not a single sparrow falls to the ground
without your knowledge.

Living God,
you who keep watch over all your children,
and especially those who are cast out,
remind us
that not a single sparrow falls to the ground
without your knowledge.

Dios Vidente,
tú que cuidas de todas tus criaturas,
incluso las aves más pequeñas,
recuérdanos
que ni un solo gorrión cae a tierra
sin tu conocimiento.

Dios Misericordioso,
tú que pusiste un arco iris en el cielo
y prometiste nunca más destruir los seres vivientes,
recuérdanos
que ni un solo gorrión cae a tierra

Dios Providente,
tú que viste a Agar en el desierto
y a su pequeño hijo muriendo de sed,
recuérdanos

Dios Solidario,
tú que oíste el clamor de tu pueblo en angustia
cuando estaba esclavizado en Egipto,
recuérdanos
que ni un solo gorrión cae a tierra
sin tu conocimiento.

Dios Viviente,
tú que vigilas a todos tus hijos, hijas e hijes,
y especialmente a quienes son repudiados,
recuérdanos
que ni un solo gorrión cae a tierra
sin tu conocimiento.
