We build magnificent temples,
but Jesus sends us into the world
and reminds us that we belong to the earth.

We take refuge in ancient monasteries,
but Jesus sends us into the world
and reminds us that we belong to the earth.

We escape to remote locations,
but Jesus sends us into the world
and reminds us that we belong to the earth.

God of the Cosmos,
you created the world
and all living creatures
are a gift from you.
Teach us to live in such a way
that we honor your creation.

God of the Garden,
you planted the trees
and the fruits and the birds
are a gift from you.
Teach us to live in such a way
that we care for your creation.

God of the Oceans,
you filled the seas
and the fish and the corals
are a gift from you.
Teach us to live in such a way
that we preserve your creation.

Una oración basada en Juan 17:6-19

Construimos magníficas casas de oración,
pero Jesús nos envía al mundo
y nos recuerda que pertenecemos a la tierra.

Nos refugiamos en antiguos monasterios,
pero Jesús nos envía al mundo
y nos recuerda que pertenecemos a la tierra.

Huimos a lugares remotos,
pero Jesús nos envía al mundo
y nos recuerdas que pertenecemos a la tierra.

Dios del Cosmos,
tú creaste el mundo
y todas las criaturas vivientes
son un don tuyo.
Enséñanos a vivir de forma tal
que honremos tu creación.

Dios del Huerto,
tú sembraste los árboles
y los frutos y las aves
son un don tuyo.
Enséñanos a vivir de forma tal
que cuidemos de tu creación.

Dios de los Océanos,
tú llenaste los mares
y los peces y los arrecifes
son un don tuyo.
Enséñanos a vivir de forma tal
que preservemos tu creación.
