Divinidad Creadora,
tú que fecundas la tierra,
abre surcos de bondad en mi corazón
y no permitas que se cierren
con el allanamiento de la maldad.

Divinidad Germinadora,
tú que provees la semilla,
brota cotiledones de hermandad en mi corazón
y no permitas que se marchiten
con la chamuscada de la maldad.

Divinidad Generadora,
tú que haces salir el sol,
ilumina sembríos de perdón en mi corazón
y no permitas que se debiliten
con las tinieblas de la maldad.

Divinidad Sustentadora,
tú que mandas la lluvia,
riega campos de compasión de mi corazón
y no permitas que se endurezcan
con la sequía de la maldad.

“Creative Divinity”

A prayer based on Matthew 13:1-23

Creative Divinity,
you who fertilize the earth,
open furrows of goodness in my heart
and do not allow them to be closed
under the levelling of evil.

Germinating Divinity,
you who provide the seed,
sprout cotyledons of kinship in my heart
and do not allow them to wither
under the scorching of evil.

Generating Divinity,
you who make the sun rise,
illumine crops of forgiveness in my heart
and do not allow them to weaken
under the gloom of evil.

Sustaining Divinity,
you who send the rain,
wáter fields of compassion in my heart
and do not allow them to harden
under the drought of evil.
